LIQUID MEASURING TIPS AND CONVERSIONS
- Avoid pouring liquid ingredients into measuring device over bowl. Pouring over the mixing bowl could result in spillage and too much liquid in your recipe OR inaccurate measurement if measuring device is tilted or off center.
- Use clear measuring device, placed on level flat surface for accurate measurement.
- Be sure to fill to correct mark/rim on measuring device for accurate amounts.
- For sticky ingredients – first spray the measuring device with a non-stick spray or brush with vegetable oil
- If measuring fats such as butter, margarine – let them come to room temperature. It makes them easy to pack into the measuring device.
